November Lusting

Laid-back luxe on the wish list this week. These roll neck jumpers are everywhere at the moment, perfect for the winter season and as usual Zara are on point. These feathered heels are super cute and will are top of my to-buy list, they will instantly quirk up any outfit. I have seen this roll top bag in store and it is lovely and soft and just perfect My only problem is I already have the exact same bag, just a lot less furry, do I really need two? Probably not, but is that enough to stop me? Again, probably not. The earrings are not something I would normally go for but I feel they are something I can carry from day to evening and are easy to wear to instantly glam up any outfit. I'm not normally Topshop's biggest fan but at the moment i'm really impressed.

Christmas Girly Gift Ideas!

With Christmas nearing, i'm planning Christmas gifts early this year to avoid the stress of last minute shopping i.e. last year's nightmare
I'm planning to pick up a few bits from the clothes show live next month for my sister and friends but if you are struggling for inspiration, here are a few girly ideas for little stocking fillers or even secret santa presents! My favourite is the make up bag, maybe a present to myself?

1. Pink Hetty Hoover Mug - Topshop - £10 - I think this would be a great stocking filler, its, fun, useful and PINK! and we all have hundreds of mugs but who wouldn't love a new one for sipping warming festive drinks on Christmas Day?

2. Natural Soy Wax Alphabet Candle - ASOS - £3 - This is a bargain gift, to help add a little extra to a present, it is lightly fragranced and comes in a lovely little box, an absolute steal at this price for a personalised gift.

3. Pink Gnome Light - Urban Outfitters - £8 - This also comes in green and blue for anyone less girly. Its a small battery operated light that I think is just one of those really fun presents that no one really needs (lets be honest) but who cares, it's fun and quirky and not too expensive!

4. Little Luna Moonstone Ring - Dixi - £26 - This sterling silver, milky moonstone ring is gorgeous, if you haven't checked out Dix jewellery before, head over to their website to have a look at their modern and vintage jewellery, i'm hooked, everything is beautiful, i'm also a big fan of their turquoise rings.

5. Models Own Gel Polish Set - Superdrug - £15 - A nice mix of brights and nudes, a variety of best selling shades. This gift set is 10x10ml miniatures, perfect for any polish obsessives or those wanting to expand on their collection, this would be a good call for a secret santa present, most girls would love this gift, theres shades for everyone here!

6. Novelty Make Up Bag - ASOS - £18 - I WANT THIS!! I think this is great, I would be delighted to receive this as a Christmas gift. It's large and with it having a black lining any marks won't show up as much as they would on a lighter lining, which is always good. Also, asos currently have the 20% student discount offer on at the moment to help keep costs down.

Has this helped at all? Let me know! x

2013 - Here We Go!

So, it's 2013, yippeeeee! Looking forwards to this year, back to being a skint uni student soon, yes I mean SKINT, I currently have £1.57 to my name, everyone's chasing, i'm so rich! But besides this, I am loving being a student, met so many great new people, Leeds is a great city and the independence is fantastic and much needed. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Years,  I for one have eaten waaaay too much, not proud, but it's happened and been getting far too drunk..no regrets...
Here are a few snaps from my NYE anyway, messssssy night!
 Being immature
Me and Kate (start of the night obviously..no photo's at the end surprisingly!)
Dress I bought for £25 at the clothes show live by Goldie London

What i'm looking forwards to/planning this year:

  • A holiday to Malia this year with my uni girls but that is dependent on me finding a job in Leeds as well as me keeping my lifeguard job in Nottingham. My, £1.57 won't get me halfway into town, let alone another country!
  • Joining the volunteer scheme through my uni course to help children with disabilities, along with training for it.
  • Leeds festival! Have been to reading the past couple of years but going to Leeds and living the 'proper festival experience' would be amazing! (and a total binge haha)
  • A trip to Turkey with the family is potentially on the cards?! Here's hoping!
  • To reconnect with this blog, it's been neglected for far too long now!
  • To get a job in Leeds! ANYTHING! Spent the past two weeks listing my wardrobe on ebay and it has been SO painful, said goodbye to some gems, including my 90210 and Gossip Girl box sets :( Desperate times, eh?
  • Ok, big one here, NY resolution...to lose weight. I'm not saying i'm 'fat' or 'large' but personally I don't feel comfortable with my body how it is at the moment so I am going to try my best to make a conscious effort to eat healthier and do more exercise in order to change this.
  • Sort out a house to live in come September for uni, exciting! Found a few to view but we are already all in disagreement!

Mini-haul

Just a few online, sale and general shopping buys!

Dress - Glamorous - £25.99

This photo makes this dress look awful! Its gorgeous in real life though, can't wait to put a belt round the middle and wear it with heels on a night out or throw a baggy shirt over it for a casual day look.

Vest - Topshop workshop - £12 from £20

Bought this from the sale mainly for my holiday in the summer just to throw over my bikini on the beach. Its really over-sized and I love the colours, sooo pretty.

Earrings - Topshop - £3.25 from £6.50

Another sale purchase, black, gold triangles, perfect.

Heels - Topshop - £30 from £80

SO excited about these! I had been after them for months since I had seen them online but just couldn't justify buying them :( so I couldn't believe my luck when I saw them, the only pair of these on the sale bench... in my size! Time for the victory dance! ahhhhhhh, so thrilled! Although they are tricky to walk in, but who cares?! I mean, they have studs in the heels! In. Love.

Bag - Primark - £12

I bought this beige bag from primark and literally have used it non-stop, its really lovely! I wish it had a zip at the top though rather than just a magnetic popper, but lets not be picky! £12 bargain! xoxo

CATCH UP

Hello, hope you are all well, I have been away from blogging for a few months now! I don't really know why to be completely honest but there you go! The new blogger design is horrible and I still can't get used to it - not that it's really that new anymore! I'm hopefully going to try and get back into it! I have also lost the cable for my camera which doesn't help at all, hence the dodgy instagram picture!

Anyway, just a few things!
1. I have a new phone, a white samsung galaxy s2, I love it! Seriously don't know how I lived with my rubbish blackberry before!
2. A while back, I held a giveaway for 3 ciate crackle polishes, now I am back I am delighted to reveal that the winner is... Josephine Jade who I shall contact shortly, well done!
3. I am now on instagram, and pretty much obsessed with it! My username is annie_coco if you would like a nosy!
4. Typing this post has made me realise how boring my life is, I have been away for a couple of months and have nothing to say! Spent too much time being lazy in the sun obviously! xoxo

Rings and Tings

Moustache Necklace*
Skull Earrings*

If you haven't heard of Rings and Tings yet, seriously, get yourself over to their site! They stock clothing, jewellery, bags and beauty items and they are flipping reasonably well priced too. They have some great pieces in stock at the moment, some really quirky bits, how amazing is this ring?! I would quite like to try out some of the eyelashes that they sell too. On payday, when it finally arrives, i'm definitely treating myself to a few bits off their website. Great quality and so well priced, can't go wrong really!
Have you ever bought anything from Rings and Tings? xoxo

wishlist 2

Sorry for no post in nearly 2 weeks! I have been really busy, making the most of the sun, then once the Easter holidays began, I spent my whole week at work and now I am a little bit poorly, booo. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in a few more posts this week! Not really able to afford any of the following on my wish list for a while as I have literally wasted my wages this month, have finally booked Amsterdam and would like some spending money for that, but still, I can dream.

001. Khaki Pocket Shorts from Topshop. Although I have only just bought 3, yes 3, pairs of khaki shorts, I want more! These are longer in length and I think the pocket detail is great. I think the white drawstring tie give these a really sporty casual look too.

002. Peace Vest from Topshop. Still so so so into dip dye clothes at the moment and and vest tops with love arms I love, especially as i can flash my tattoo off now! This top would go with so many things, short shorts or jeans for a casual look and I can think of a few black skirts I have that I could dress it up with.

003. Pink Plastic Raincoat from Miss Selfridge. Need this in time for festivals this year! I'm going to Reading and hopefully Summer Sundae too. I need a new raincoat and this is bright pink, possibly I could justify buying this...

004. Gold Triangle Studs from Topshop. Is it just me or are triangles the thing going? Genuinely I am triangle obsessed. I quite want a triangle tattoo too. Then again I want loads of tattoos. I just want everything really!

005. Dip Dye Tunic from Topshop. On the website this says petite but I have seen a non-petite version in store. Love this but I know I would wear it one time and then be over it. Or maybe not? I don't know but i want it!

006. Scarf Print Playsuit from River Island. I would most likely only wear this on a night out and then complain about toilet hassles of playsuits! I like how the print runs down the centre of the suit and need some more classy items in my wardrobe asap!

Also, is it really bad that I want this top? What's better than a vest top with a picture of Barbie, Ken and the rest of their plastic crew?! Probably quite a lot really.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway too if you haven't already!  xoxo
