What's Happened This Week? #2

Me and my split ends reppin' my work uniform.

1. Spent a REEEDONKULOUS amount of money online this week, and going shopping in a moment - spending ban out of the window!
2. Reached 100 followers on this blog GlitterMud! So grateful to you all. Don't forget to enter my giveaway! I'm also thinking of changing the name and header of my blog, I sort of picked the name 'glitter and mud' off the top of my head when I split-secondly decided to create a blog. I was thinking of 'calling coco' let me know what you think? :)
3. I went to the gym! Also going running tomorrow! Going to the gym, big deal for me! As the gym is in the leisure centre that I work, everyone you know is there watching you get all sweaty and it's not ideal but to be honest it beats paying for a gym membership that I can't really afford.
4. I'm finally the proud owner of a tangle teezer and the real techniques core collection brushes...more to come on these beauties.

What's Happened This Week? #1

1. This was the week I finally decided to cancel my glossybox subscription. Some products I loved, some I didn't which is kind of what you expect but GB's customer service I found pretty naff and they obviously wasted our time asking us to complete out beauty profiles. What's the point when they are ignored?! I prefer Carmine and the new SheSaid beauty boxes. Bring back Feel Unique!

2. Received an unconditional offer for Leeds Met Uni, so this year I will definitely be going away, wooohooo. Waiting to hear back from one more choice yet though.

3. Been attempting to sort through my clothes this week, not been all that successful! Everything is too small but i'm convincing myself things WILL fit soon! Dream on! I need to be brave and just get rid. I am also going to try a spending ban for a bit, try and save some money rather than blowing it all on non essential items no matter how much I reckon I need them!

4. Looked more into going to Amsterdam and we are hoping to book this week! Getting far too over excited. A big thanks to Claire at Don't Eat Leather who has been really helpful, and has given me so many ideas on places to visit and things to do, so thank you!

Songs of the week:
I have decided each week along with my 'weekly round-up' post, to share a few songs I have been listening to. I love music and discovering new artists, so hopefully this might introduce people to some amazing stuff! Going to share some new music, some old gems and just random picks off albums that I enjoy :)

Shoe Heaven

Back from my holiday! Photos soon to follow...possibly! Had a great week away, got a sunburnt face though, pretty quickly too, so ended up camera shy for the majority of the week! Dying to go away again soon. Me and Rach are hoping to go for a city break to Amsterdam in about a month or so, if you have ever been before purrrrleeeease drop me an email or something with any tips, what you did, where you stayed etc! Would appreciate that so, so much :)

First day back in the gloomy UK, I went shopping of course, I bought a few vintage shirts, some jewellery bits, eyelashes and the standard McDonalds for lunch but the most exciting bit is that I treated myself to these new amazing heels from River Island and they are 100% dreamy, I have had my eye on them for a while and finally caved and bought them!
River Island - £50

Gorgeous! I'm not a big 'walking in heels' pro, but these do seem pretty sturdy! Going to test them out this weekend! xoxo
