Vera Wang Princess

As I said in my last post, I was majorly disappointed with the christmas sales this year but I was very happy when I went into boots and managed to snap up this Vera Wang Princess fragrance gift set for half price!
RRP: £36.00 SALE: £18.00

The set contains:
  • Eau de Toilette 30ml
  • Body Lotion 75ml
  • Solid Fragrance
  • Pencil Sharpener - for the solid fragrance (if you hadn't already worked that out!)
I was actually looking for a Prada Candy or a CK one shock gift set in the sales but unsurprisingly, they had already sold out :( Luckily though, I did manage to fight off the angry mob of shoppers and grab this, I already knew I liked it because my beautiful friend Laura has the same perfume! The fragrance itself is quite light and sweet, definitely floral and kind of exotic. It's a very feminine fragrance,  not the sort I usually go for but a perfect daytime smell! Also, I must compliment the bottle, loving the heart shape and the princess crown top! Very impressed with my purchase here, the solid fragrance is perfect to pop into my bag, I will always use body lotion, bonus when it smells this yummy and the bottle is sitting beautifully with all my other perfumes, so thank you Boots!

Also, please enjoy the photograph, it took me well over 20 minutes scouting my room for the solid fragrance pencil, don't know how I managed to misplace it, especially when I have used it everyday, several times since Monday! Typical. I really wanted it in the photo though, so it was time well spent! ;) xoxo

Topshop sale slippers

So, I decided to brave the christmas sales on boxing day with my mum and my sister. I was quite disappointed in all honesty! I couldn't find much in any of my favourite shops and everyone was CRAZY. Also I was a little bit poorly which is going to slightly bias my opinions of the sales shopping, I admit to being a little bit grumpy!

Anyway, in topshop, I usually love the sales, I normally feed off them! BUT, literally Nottingham topshop was wild. It was ridiculous. I know it's to be expected but obviously I wasn't prepared! I looked through one clothes rack and couldn't be bothered but wanted to look at shoes so headed to the back of the shop. I found two pairs of 'slippers' so headed toward the never-ending queue that had snaked around the entire shop, which is huge. bore.

Slippers, I love anything leopard print and my old slippers were made from feathers and were depositing all over the house giving me and the vacuum cleaner plenty of quality time together! I bought these in size 8, not wanting to try them on, being grumpy and that, just took them to the till, paid, got home they were size 7. Oh well, nice tight squeeze but not the end of the world!
RRP £18.00 (i think) SALE £8.00

I'm not actually sure if these are slippers or shoes, the website tells me they are slippers but they have already made a trip around IKEA and several other shops on the retail park - in the rain - which i'm sure did them a world of good! All the time I was wearing them, my mum was telling me I looked like I had forgot to take off my slippers and I looked stupid, which is always lovely to hear! Luckily I did manage to get the correct size in these and I love them! So comfy and I did spy them before the sale so I'm glad I found them!
RRP  £28.00 SALE £18.00

As I was in the queue, I found a pair of earrings in toppers too that someone had just put down so bought them also, will post about them and some other sale items soon!

P.S. Thinking of doing a giveaway soon!
P.P.S. Sorry for the slipper/shoe photos, having a pyjama day and just rolled up my pj bottoms ha! xoxo

loreal elvive review

My hair is generally quite weak and is always so so damaged - poor me The harsh winter weather is not helping my hair at all. I'm not particularly faithful to any brand of shampoo but I do normally quite like herbal essences and I go for damage repair shampoos although none have ever seemed to help all that much, until I tried the 'Loreal Elvive damage care repairing shampoo' and basically, it's AMAZING! My hair felt smooth for once and actually had a shine to it! The smell was quite nice and fresh too which is always a bonus.

The shampoo is recommended for damaged or brittle hair and uses 'Ceramide-Cement' which according to the bottle is a copy of natural cement found in hair. This fills in the cracks in your hair and seals the hair's cuticle making your hair not only stronger but smoother and shinier. I honestly think this product works so well and if you suffer from weak damaged hair, then I would definitely suggest you give it a try! xoxo
